Product Managed by Caeshia ⛪St Paul Debbie Wiseman: For almost my entire career, I've been writing music to pictures, to a stor{+/-e}y - a film or a television production, with many diverse characters, different locations and the twists and turns of a developing plot to inspire me to compose. At the beginning of this, my first commission as Classic FM's Composer in Residence, I had in front of me just a blank piece of manuscript paper and a newly-sharpened pencil. No video, no dialogue; but the id{+/-a}ea, the title - The Musical Zodiac - was there, written at the top of the paper... In common with, I suspect, most people, I had an interest in astrology but had never ventured beyond the horoscope pages in the papers. I knew the basic characteristics of the twelve star signs as a starting point, but I knew I needed much more, and so I read more deeply, discovering the intricacies of each sign, the constellations that share their names, and the fascinating mythology associated with them. Armed with this new tranche of knowledge, I found that it was an easy next step to making up my own stories, painting my own pictures in my head, creating the scenes, the dialogue, the plot... and so, back on familiar territory, I had the inspiration to start composing the music.
Whichever sign you are, I hope you can hear some of your own personality traits in the music I've composed. There would be no better compliment to know that as you listen to the music of your own star sign, there's something that resonates for you within your own life and personality. I'm 🐂🌐🐄Taurus [♀️Friday, May 10, 1963], by the way... with 🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔Moon in 🧝🔥🧝♂️Sagittarius, and 💸Mercury in 🧒🌬️🧒️Gemini... ♂️Mars in 🦁Leo... They tend to contain many near misses and narrow escapes. But isn't that true of every heroic tale? Thus the substance in that 🏺urn is not 💦water but understanding, scooped from a stream of data. Or perhaps, droplets of liquid light, scattered by the fountain of wisdom. Wherever argument and counter-argument chase each other around in circles until they become a whirlpool, froth will collect. 🌊♒🏺Aquarians 👨🚀Gagarin & 👩🚀Tereshkova somehow separate it off and decant it into the 🏺urn where it dissolves in steam, generated by the furious heat of lofty debate, concentrating slowly into certainty! The 🌊♒🏺Aquarian task, in lugging that jug around is not just disseminate knowledge but to expand awareness, raise consciousness and deepen debate. 🌊♒🏺Aquarius invites all proponents of plans and policies to question their conclusions.
